Goodfellow Wine was inspired by Shakespeare's mythical being Puck, or Sir Robin Goodfellow, penned in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” some 400 years ago.  He is the unforgettable character in the annals of world literature and the champion of our brand.  Confident and cheerful, he is the embodiment of his wild Roman buddy, Bacchus; his euphoric cousin, Dionysus; as well as the engaging trickster Kokopelli.  Many characters have become timeless symbols from Shakespeare’s prose, however, Puck is the character that most represents to us mortals the concept of what can be, or at least what might be if we follow our dreams and live in the moment.  It is with this inspiration that Goodfellow Wine was created and hopefully to wake up the Puck in all of us.

Goodfellow Wine is the creation of six partners with diverse backgrounds but with a passion for good food and wine.  Our goal is to produce high quality Pinot Noir and Merlot wine from the finest vineyards in the Napa and Sonoma Valley regions.  With the combination of strong winemaking expertise and business expertise within our partnership and our advisory group we are confident that you will taste and sense the quality of our product.  From the vineyard to the bottle we hope that you will appreciate our personal touch in each bottle which we feel is a perfect marriage of science and art.
